THIS PROCUREMENT IS SET ASIDE FOR SERVICE DISABLED VETERAN OWNED SMALL BUSINESSES
THE WORK CONSISTS OF:
Furnish all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to complete the following Gatehouse Exterior Stair Repair at Townshend Lake, Townshend, VT in accordance with the following Statement of Work, Specifications and Drawings.
The contractor shall complete concrete, crack, and sealing repairs on the exterior stairs that are located on the West Face of the gatehouse tower. All repairs shall involve sounding and finding limits of repairs, removal of deteriorated concrete, surface preparation, concrete, crack, and sealer repairs to the stairs. The contractor shall sound all repair areas to find the extents of the repairs and shall remove the unsound concrete to a minimum depth of three (3) inches, or to the extent of unsound concrete. The contractor will then repair the unsound concrete area to the original thickness and will match the existing or intended profiles.
The contractor shall repair the cracks using either an epoxy injection or joint sealant. Cracks shall be routed, backer rod added, and sealed.
Floor drain piping shall extrude further than existing and be made of hot dipped galvanized steel and sized to be 1/8” diameter larger than existing drainpipe. A hydrophilic type of sealant will be used to combine the two sections of pipe and create a watertight seal.
The magnitude of construction is between $100,000 and $250,000.
