Gatesville ISD JR High Campus Grid and Tile Ceiling Replacement

The Gatesville Independent School District is soliciting proposals for the removal and replacement of approximately 30,000 square feet of existing ceiling grid and acoustical ceiling tile systems at its Junior High Campus, with installation of a new suspension grid system and 2x2 acoustical ceiling tile or approved equal, including white 2x2 vinyl-faced ceiling tile in kitchen and food service areas that meets USDA requirements. The work encompasses full demolition and disposal of existing materials, daily cleanup, and protection of existing building components. All work must comply with federal, state, and local building codes, safety regulations, and manufacturer installation requirements. Proposals must be submitted by June 4, 2026, at 2:30 PM, and must include a complete return packet of mandatory forms, including the Proposer Information Response Form, List of References, Deviation/Compliance Signature Form, Resident/Nonresident Certification, Anti-Collusion Statement, Conflict of Interest Questionnaire, Certificate of Interested Parties filed electronically through the Texas Ethics Commission, Model SB 9 Certification, Felony Conviction Notice, House Bill 89 Verification, Senate Bill 252 Certification, and IRS Form W-9. Failure to submit any of these documents will result in automatic disqualification. Bids must remain firm for 60 days after award, and pricing must include all costs, including freight, with no additional charges permitted on invoices. Goods must be shipped F.O.B. Destination to the campus, with deliveries accepted only Monday through Friday between 8:00 AM–12:00 PM and 1:00 PM–4:00 PM. Each shipment requires a packing slip and shipping label referencing the Gatesville ISD purchase order number, and invoices must be itemized, match the quote, and include the original receipt of material to qualify for payment within 30 days of receipt, provided items are new, meet specifications, and are received in good order. The District reserves the right to immediately terminate the contract for failure to meet schedules, non-performance, unacceptable personnel, or material price increases, and may pursue damages or reprocurement at the defaulting bidder’s expense.
