Gateway Signage Landscaping & Hardscaping

The City of Pontiac, through its Department of Public Works - Engineering, is seeking proposals for the installation and maintenance of landscaped and hardscaped areas surrounding gateway metal and monument signs along major city corridors. The project includes 11 small sign beds, each approximately 5 ft. by 5 ft., and 9 large sign beds, typically 16 ft. wide, designed to accommodate drought- and salt-tolerant plantings. All beds must be prepared with a spade-cut edge, filled with 10 to 12 inches of plant mix, planted according to approved concept plans, and finished with a 3-inch layer of shredded hardwood bark mulch. Limestone hardscaping is required only at sloped locations where grade leveling is necessary, as specifically outlined in the concept plans under the Large Sign on Slope, Option B designation.
