Type C tempered glass-clad polycarbonate in various sizesThe Government of Saskatchewan, through SaskBuilds and Procurement, is soliciting submissions for the supply and delivery of Type-C tempered glass-clad polycarbonate in a range of sizes and thicknesses to be used across all correctional centers in the province. This specialized security glazing material is engineered to offer exceptional resistance to impact, forced entry, and penetration, and will serve to replace and reinforce existing infrastructure in high-security areas. The requirement is for an ongoing, as-needed supply, meaning selected suppliers will be expected to fulfill orders dynamically over the contract term based on operational needs within the correctional system. To participate, suppliers must be registered on the Government Enterprise Management (GEM) system, as all competition documents, amendments, and communications will be hosted exclusively through this platform. Bidders must log in to GEM to access the solicitation, submit questions, receive updates, and ultimately submit their proposals by the deadline of August 11, 2026. Registration is mandatory and can be completed via the GEM Supplier Portal. The solicitation number is 250-2026, with the opportunity posted on July 20, 2026. Interested parties must use the GEM system to locate and respond to the tender, and any inquiries should be directed to the designated support email provided. Failure to register or follow GEM protocols will result in disqualification.
