The Rural Municipality of Tecumseh No. 65, in partnership with the Town of Stoughton, invites proposals from qualified general contractors for the complete construction of the new Stoughton–Tecumseh Health Centre in Stoughton, Saskatchewan. The project will provide a functional, accessible, durable and cost-effective health-care facility serving Stoughton and surrounding rural communities. The new one-storey facility is approximately 4,528 ft² (420.7 m²), with an approximate footprint of 88' × 52', a Group D occupancy, an occupant load of 54 persons, and two required exits. The successful contractor will be responsible for all construction services required to deliver a complete, code-compliant and operational facility, including project management, supervision, procurement, subcontractor coordination, construction, testing, commissioning, deficiency correction and project closeout. The RM is seeking a contractor with demonstrated commercial/institutional construction experience and the ability to effectively manage multiple trades while maintaining schedule, quality, safety and cost control. The procurement is intended to result in one construction contract. The architectural and structural drawing package is marked Issued For Construction. Separate mechanical and electrical documents will be incorporated into the project, and proponents are required to account for the mechanical and electrical scope and associated pricing in their submissions.
