PUBLIC NOTICE General Professional Airport Architectural and Engineering Consulting Services and Architectural and Engineering Support Services for the Lafayette Airport Commission at the Lafayette Regional Airport   The Lafayette Airport Commission (LAC) is seeking a qualified firm to provide General Professional Airport Architectural and Engineering (A/E) consulting services and A/E Support Services for the Lafayette Regional Airport.  The LAC seeks respondents to its Architectural and Engineering Request for Qualifications (“A/E RFQ”) with considerable demonstrated airport experience in complex, multi-agency funded airport projects within the last five (5) years, including management of large multi-disciplinary teams, strong airport planning, engineering, architectural, construction management and administration, resident project inspection,  project  management, environmental services and  airport operations experience, and extensive experience working with current FAA Advisory Circulars and other guidance and regulatory documents affecting development on an operating airport.   A professional services agreement will be awarded to the selected firm for a three (3) year term, with two (2) possible one (1) year extensions.             The A/E RFQ may be obtained electronically from Central Auction House Bidding or by email request to Jennifer Comeaux at jenniferc@lftairport.com.  A hardcopy of the A/E RFQ may be obtained by sending request and payment of $100.00, non-refundable, by check payable to the “Lafayette Airport Commission” to the following address: ATTN: A/E RFQ Packet Jennifer Comeaux Property Administrator Lafayette Airport Commission 200 Terminal Drive, Suite #200 Lafayette, LA 70508   Firms interested in responding to the A/E RFQ must submit a Letter of Interest to the LAC no later than August 10, 2026.  The instructions for submitting a Letter of Interest, the deadlines and relevant dates for the remainder of the selection process, as well as the scope of work, the details of the selection process, and all other required information for respondents can be found in the A/E RFQ. A mandatory Pre-submittal Conference will be held at 2:00 P.M. Central Daylight Time (CDT) on August 19, 2026. The location for the conference will be: LAC Conference Room          Second Floor          200 Terminal Drive          Lafayette, LA 70508   The LAC, in accordance with the provisions of Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 (78 Stat. 252, 42 USC §§ 2000d to 2000d-4), 28 CFR § 50.3, and 49 CFR Part 21, and the Regulations, hereby notifies all Respondents that it will affirmatively ensure that any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, disadvantaged business enterprises will be afforded full and fair opportunity to submit Statements of Qualifications in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, or national origin all contractors will be afforded full opportunity to submit Statements of Qualifications in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of the owner’s race, color, national origin, sex, creed, age, or disability in consideration for an award.
