The General Services Administration, specifically the PBS R4 Office of Leasing, has issued an award notice for solicitation 0FL2263 regarding the lease of office space in Miami, Florida. The requirement involves 11,039 ABOA or 12,695 RSF of space, with the agency seeking a 15-year lease term consisting of a 10-year firm period beginning November 16, 2021. This procurement was conducted as a succeeding lease through a Justification for Other Than Full and Open Competition. The GSA determined that negotiating with the incumbent lessor was the most advantageous course of action, as a cost-benefit analysis revealed that the expenses associated with relocating would outweigh any potential savings gained through a competitive bidding process. The action is governed by NAICS code 531 and was managed by the GSA office located in Atlanta, Georgia.
