The Riverside County Sheriff Department's Public Safety Enterprise Communication (PSEC) proudly manages seventy-two (72) vital communication sites, all powered by generators strategically located throughout Riverside County. These sites serve as the backbone of our communications infrastructure, essential for maintaining seamless operations 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, throughout the entire year. In this Request for Quotation (RFQ), we seek dedicated partners for the scheduled preventive maintenance and prompt repairs of our generators. Of the 72 sites, sixty-two (62) are equipped with robust standby generators, ensuring uninterrupted power during any commercial outages. Furthermore, ten (10) of these sites are fortified with dual generators that guarantee reliable power supply when commercial sources fail. To uphold the highest standards of performance and reliability, our generators must adhere to a strict manufacturer-required maintenance schedule. This schedule includes essential quarterly, annual, and triennial service requirements, all designed to ensure optimal functioning and eliminate any potential downtime. We conduct all scheduled maintenance during regular business hours, from Monday to Friday, between 7:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Your partnership in this critical maintenance endeavor will significantly contribute to our unwavering commitment to public safety and effective communication in our community.
