AI Contract Overview
The City of Plano is seeking bids for the installation of owner-furnished generators across multiple facilities, including the Shiloh Pump Station, Joint Use Facility, School House Radio Tower, and the Plano Municipal Warehouse, with an estimated project cost of approximately $415,000. The project requires all bidders to attend a mandatory site visit, and failure to document attendance will render a bid non-responsive. Proposals must be submitted electronically via the IonWave platform by December 8, 2025, with in-person submissions accepted only during designated hours at the Procurement Division, where they must be delivered in sealed envelopes. The bid opening is scheduled for December 9, 2025, at 2:00 PM at City Hall, with tabulations available online shortly thereafter to promote transparency and limit unnecessary attendance. All responses must be received on time, as late submissions will not be considered, and due to internal procedures, the city recommends electronic or in-person delivery for critical bids to ensure timely receipt. Bidders are advised to verify that uploaded files are accessible, as non-viewable responses may be deemed non-responsive, and the city reserves the right to request clarifications if needed. Questions regarding the solicitation should be submitted exclusively through the IonWave platform, with no phone or email inquiries accepted. The contract falls under NAICS code 493110, and the primary contact for the project is Theresa Mackey, whose email is provided for further communication.

It is recommended that critical bid/proposal deliveries be made either electronically through IonWave or in person as described above. It is further recommended that users review all electronic response attachments to ensure the uploaded files are able to be downloaded and viewed.
