The City of DeSoto, Texas is seeking a qualified contractor to construct the Gilbert Avenue, Reedsport Place, & Stinnett Place Sanitary Sewer Improvements Project, Project No. 2024SSPU-1 and is advertising this Request for Bids. The work to be performed under this contract includes approximately 1,840 linear feet of 6”sanitary sewer by open cut, 165 linear feet of 12” sewer by open cut, and 127 linear feet of 12” sanitary sewer with 20” casing by bore, and 169 linear feet of 6” cured-in-place-pipe, and other miscellaneous improvements as further defined by this Request for Bids. The Contractor shall supply all labor, equipment, and materials necessary to complete the work in accordance with these specifications and plans. Before bidding on the project, bidders are expected to inspect the site of the work and to inform themselves regarding all site and roadway conditions. The Contractor will be required to coordinate construction activities with the City. All work shall conform to City of DeSoto’s construction standards and in accordance with the contract drawings and specification documents. All Work must be completed within 30 days of the issuance of a Notice to Proceed.
