The U.S. Army’s Global Tactical Edge Acquisition Directorate (G-TEAD) has launched Accelerated Capability Event #4, known as xTech | Kinetic Reach, as a prize-based competition to rapidly identify and onboard innovative technology solutions validated at TRL 6 or higher. This initiative is part of the G-TEAD Library of Competed Capabilities, a flexible acquisition platform designed to streamline the deployment of operational-ready equipment and software to the Army, U.S. Army Service Component Commands, and allied partners. Vendors participating in xTech | Kinetic Reach must submit white papers between June 5 and June 24, 2026, with finalists selected in August 2026 to demonstrate their solutions during a live soldier exercise in Germany from November 1 to 24, 2026. Winners receive prize funding, the opportunity to leave behind equipment for field evaluation, and potential inclusion in the G-TEAD Library, granting them eligibility for direct follow-on contracts or prototype Other Transaction (OT) agreements under 10 USC 4022, including production authorization under subsection (f). Successful participants may also be selected by ASCC commanders for immediate procurement and deployment, with additional pathways open for Foreign Military Sales and Direct Commercial Sales. The competition operates under multiple acquisition authorities including 10 USC 4025 for prize competitions, 10 USC 4021 and 4022 for Research and Prototype OTs, FAR-based contracts, and Commercial Solutions Openings, ensuring compliance while enabling speed and flexibility. Foreign companies may participate provided they meet export control and security requirements and are not from a Foreign Country of Concern. The G-TEAD Library will serve as a single, pre-competitive repository of vetted technologies accessible to Army, NATO, and partner buyers, eliminating redundant competitions for future procurements. Following the event, vendors may be offered Master Business Agreements or invited to submit Phase II SBIR proposals, and the window for Prototype OT agreements extends from late November 2026 through March 2027. The Alternate Pathway for submissions remains closed with no anticipated announcement date; vendors are instructed not to submit inquiries or materials outside the official xTech | Kinetic Reach portal. The initiative is managed by G-TEAD with technical and contracting support from the 409th CSB and other Army leadership, aiming to accelerate warfighter-relevant capabilities while maintaining full compliance across domestic and international procurement channels.

ALR-67(V)3 Multi-Channel Analog-to-Digital (MCAD) Application Specific Integrated Circuit (ASIC)The Naval Air Systems Command is conducting market research to identify qualified vendors capable of redesigning the obsolete ALR-67(V)3 Multi-Channel Analog-to-Digital (MCAD) Application Specific Integrated Circuit, which is critical to sustaining airborne electronic warfare systems. This effort stems from a severe Diminishing Manufacturing Sources and Material Shortages issue, as the original ASIC is no longer producible, design documentation is unavailable, and existing inventory is exhausted. The replacement must be a Form, Fit, Function, and Interface (F3I) equivalent that seamlessly integrates into existing hardware and software without modification, requiring a complete reverse-engineering and redesign effort. The new ASIC must be an 80-MHz, 22-channel, 7-bit analog-to-digital converter with integrated calibration DACs, a 10-bit DAC, clock distribution, and a 352-pin Ball Grid Array package, converting 22 analog video channels into digital outputs. Interested parties are invited to submit a voluntary capabilities statement of no more than ten pages detailing their experience with similar custom ASIC development, particularly in military aerospace applications, along with relevant contract references, Cage Code, UEI number, and points of contact. The submission must clearly demonstrate the ability to design, fabricate, test, and deliver the required component as specified. This sources sought notice is strictly for market research and does not constitute a request for proposals or a commitment to award a contract; no funding is available for response preparation. The anticipated contract, if awarded, will be a Cost-Plus Fixed Fee type under the Non-Recurring Engineering exception, with performance expected over a 24-month period at Raytheon in Goleta, California. Responses are due by 5:00 PM Eastern Standard Time on July 3, 2026, and must be sent to the designated government point of contact.
