The MSP must ensure continuity of IEP-related services and FAPE compliance, while adhering to strict performance standards, including same-business-day acknowledgment of urgent vacancies and a one-business-day turnaround for recruitment plans and missed service notifications. The contract term begins upon execution and continues through June 30, 2027, with potential renewal options. Award selection is based on a 100-point scale evaluating the best overall value, where pricing is assessed via fully loaded hourly bill rates for the specified roles. The contract involves a project initiated by the Regional Transportation Commission of Southern Nevada to enhance mobility within the Las Vegas Medical District through the deployment of advanced autonomous vehicle technology. Specifically, the project requires the installation and operation of automated driving systems on four existing RTC transit vehicles, which are based on the ARBOC Spirit of Mobility model. These vehicles will operate on public roads within the LVMD and Downtown areas, running at least nine hours daily with a minimum of eight-minute intervals between trips. The initiative aims to leverage emergent technologies to improve safety and efficiency for travelers in this rapidly developing region. Funding for this project is sourced from federal funds, necessitating proposers to submit relevant federal compliance documentation as part of their proposals. The RTC emphasizes its commitment to equal opportunity, ensuring that all qualified bidders, including disadvantaged business enterprises, will have fair access to participate without discrimination based on race, color, or national origin. The solicitation, titled "Gomed Autonomous Technology," was posted on April 16, 2024, with a response deadline of June 11, 2024. Proponents are encouraged to contact the designated agency representative, Tonita Brown, for further information or inquiries related to the proposal process.
