AI Contract Overview
The contract specifies the procurement of a large orthopedic goniometer measuring 12 inches with degree increments from 0 to 180 and 0 to 360 degrees, each unit to be delivered in strict compliance with DLA packaging and marking requirements. Each goniometer must be sealed in a commercial-grade protective container to prevent damage during transit, and all shipments must be packed in suitable exterior shipping containers that ensure safe, cost-effective delivery to the designated destination under FOB destination terms. The items must be labeled according to Medical Marking Standard No. 1, which supersedes MIL-STD-129, and the manufacturer part numbers from approved vendors—Patterson Medical/Sammons Preston, Cardinal Health, and Henry Schein—are accepted, with bidders required to clearly state the exact country of origin and part number being supplied. The item is regulated by the FDA, triggering a mandatory referral process through EBS prior to award, and the NSN 6515-01-514-7540 applies to this specific model. Five units are required with a fixed quantity variance of plus or minus 0 percent, to be delivered within 84 days to APO 09227-0000 at a unit price of $5.00, totaling $25.00. Inspection and acceptance occur at the point of delivery, and packaging must conform to MIL-STD-2073-1E. The solicitation number is SPE2DS-26-T-008F, with a response deadline of April 29, 2026, and the contract falls under NAICS code 339112 for medical equipment manufacturing. Technical and quality requirements referenced by R or I numbers are governed by the DLA Master List of Technical and Quality Requirements, with the applicable revision tied to the solicitation issue date. All supplies are subject to the Covered Defense Information guidelines, and government identification must be removed from non-accepted items. Primary point of contact for the contract is James Burke, reachable via email or phone provided.
