Grace Neal Channel Construction Phase 3

The Mohave County Flood Control District is soliciting bids for Phase 3 of the Grace Neal Channel project, a regional flood control initiative designed to intercept upstream flows and convey them to the Mohave Wash. This phase involves excavation and lining of the channel from Eastview Road to Bank Street, reconstruction of the upper segment of Phase 1 from Roosevelt Street to Bank Street to enhance channel and culvert capacities, and the construction of a new channel segment from Eastview Road to the Summerhaven inlet. Title 34 for bonding and A.R.S. § 23-214(A) for immigration law compliance. The contract is issued as an Invitation for Bid with a submission deadline of August 5, 2026, and awards will be made to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder. Contract performance must be completed within 180 calendar days from the Notice to Proceed, with liquidated damages of $910 per day for delays. Contractors must provide performance and payment bonds as required by state law, maintain insurance coverage throughout the contract term and warranty periods, and comply with OSHA, ADA, and hazardous materials regulations.
