Grande Spirit Foundation - Invitation to Bid - Aurora Court – Exterior Concrete & Railing Upgrade

Grande Spirit Foundation, on behalf of Alberta Social Housing Corporation (ASHC), is seeking bids for the exterior concrete and railing upgrade at Aurora Court, 10013 – 96 Street, Grande Prairie, Alberta. The Work includes removal and replacement of deteriorated exterior concrete and associated railings/handrails at the main entrance, east patio exit, south accessible ramp, southwest exit, northeast parking-lot curb connection, and northwest emergency exit. The project includes concrete demolition and replacement, base preparation, reinforcement, drainage and accessibility improvements, railing/handrail upgrades, restoration, and associated site work. The Work is to be completed as one stipulated lump-sum contract in accordance with the Bid/Contract Package and attached Scope of Work. Aurora Court will remain occupied during construction, and safe resident access and emergency egress must be maintained throughout the Work. Bidders must comply with all requirements of the Bid/Contract Package and attached Scope of Work. Mandatory bid submissions include the signed Bid and Contract Form, signed Schedule A, and an OH&S Safety Plan or Certificate of Recognition (COR). The successful Contractor must maintain WCB good standing and provide the required Certificate of Insurance prior to commencing work. The Contractor will act as Prime Contractor for the Work. Attendance at the pre-bid site meeting is strongly recommended. Aurora Court will remain occupied during construction and safe resident access, accessible routes and emergency egress must be maintained throughout the Work.
