Grande Spirit Foundation - Invitation to Bid - GSP-2026-004-A – Sunshine Plaza AC & Make-Up Air Unit Upgrade

Grande Spirit Foundation (GSP) is inviting bids from qualified mechanical contractors for the Sunshine Plaza Common Area Air Conditioning & Make-Up Air Unit Upgrade at 9902 – 97 Avenue, La Glace, Alberta. The project includes replacement of the existing make-up air unit, installation of a new common-area air-conditioning system, extension of conditioned supply-air ductwork to the multipurpose room, and all associated mechanical, electrical, controls, testing, balancing and commissioning work. The basis of design includes an Eng Air XE225 make-up air unit, or approved equivalent, and a nominal 4-ton common-area air-conditioning system with custom cooling coil, or approved equivalent. The work includes removal and disposal of existing equipment; ductwork modifications; refrigerant piping; condensate drainage; electrical connections; controls integration; equipment supports; penetrations and sealing; air balancing; start-up; commissioning; and project closeout documentation. An optional pre-bid site visit will be held on September 24, 2026 at 10:00 AM Alberta Time at Sunshine Plaza. Bidders are responsible for reviewing the complete Bid/Contract Package and verifying existing site conditions prior to submitting a bid. Bidders must review and comply with the complete Bid/Contract Package, including Schedule A – Contract Pricing Breakdown and Schedule B – Description of Work. A signed Bid and Contract Form, signed Schedule A, and OH&S Safety Plan or Certificate of Recognition (COR) are required with the bid. The successful Contractor must provide the required insurance documentation and obtain all permits and inspections applicable to the Work.
