This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation Number: W50S89-21-Q-DN06 is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ) Solicitation Date: 28 April 2021 Description: It is the intent of the Nebraska National Guard (NENG) to establish no more than two unpriced Blanket Purchase Agreements (BPA) for our grocery and wholesale food purchase requirements. These BPAs shall not exceed five (5) years and $50,000 (whichever occurs first). Please note that a BPA is not a contract. A BPA is a streamlined method for acquiring supplies and services on an as-needed basis from qualified sources that are readily available and thus eliminates the need for repetitive costly re-procurements. There is no minimum or maximum guaranteed quantity. We need a monthly charge account at a minimum of two (2) grocery stores within 15 minutes of the Nebraska Air National Guard Base (NEANG) and one (1) wholesale store for large quantity purchases. Background: NEANG provides approximately 400 lunch meals on a Saturday and Sunday one weekend a month. The majority of the food order is through a mandatory prime vendor source. However, sometimes the prime vendor is unable to provide an item or has it in an unacceptable large quantity for our needs. When this occurs, we purchase the needed item from a local store. Short notice requirements are frequent and deliveries on the weekend must be a possibility for the wholesale store. Quotations Due: NLT 10:00 a.m. CST, 1 June 2021. Quotes may be emailed to contact@example.gov or contact@example.gov, or delivered to: USPFO for NE P & C, JFHQ Bldg 1, Room 2203, 2433 NW 24th Street, Lincoln NE 68524-1801. Points of Contact: Danielle Nuss, +1 (555) 000-0000, contact@example.gov FOB Destination: TBD for grocery stores / deliveries to Nebraska Air National Guard Dining Facility, 2901 NW 24th St, Lincoln, NE 68524. Items shall be received NLT the date identity on individual BPA Calls. This procurement is a 100% Small Business set-aside IAW FAR 19.502-2 (a). The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 311999 and the small business size standard is 500 employees. Classification Code is 8945 - Food, Oils and Fats. *** To be considered for award, you or your company must be registered with SAM at https://www.sam.gov/portal/public/SAM/.
