Gun Club Fuels Reduction and Prescribed Burn

The Gun Club Fuels Reduction and Prescribed Burn project, managed by the Fall River Resource Conservation District, is located in Shasta County, California, specifically within Township 36 North, Range 4 East, Parts of Sections 9, 10, and 16. The primary objective of the project is to reduce fuel loads in a mixed oak and pine forest to enhance the protection of communities, critical infrastructure, public and private lands, and structures from wildfire. The project is categorized as a forecast under NAICS code 115310 and is noted as categorically exempt under Section 15304 for minor land alterations that do not remove healthy mature trees, ensuring environmental benefits without significant adverse impacts on archaeological sites or endangered species.
