Gur/Nagy New Multiple Use Pier (Notification of Lake or Streambed Alteration, EPIMS Notification No. PLA-66249-R2)

The California Department of Fish and Wildlife (CDFW) has executed Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement EPIMS Notification No. PLA- 66249-R2, pursuant to Fish and Game Code section 1602 et. seq, to the project Applicant, Saar Gur. The project is limited to the construction of a new, multiple-parcel pier to serve two (2) littoral parcels, both developed with single family residences. The pier will extend 154 feet lakeward from elevation 6,232 feet. The pier head will extend 30 feet beyond the pier headline and is 15-feet-wide. 3-foot-wide adjustable catwalks will run along the east and west sides of the pier. The two (2) catwalks will be placed 45 feet from the pier head to accommodate two (2) 12,000 boat lifts at the lakeward end of the pier head. The pier will be constructed with an open pile design. A total of twenty-two (22) 10.75 inch diameter steel pilings will be installed, resulting in 14.08 square feet of lakebed disturbance. Of the 14.08 square feet of disturbance, 2.56 square feet is proposed above the high-water line, and 11.52 square feet is considered benthic disturbance. The two (2) 12,000 lb. boat lifts create an additional 0.44 square feet of lakebed disturbance, totaling 11.96 square feet of benthic disturbance to the lakebed.
