12KV Extension Laguna Springs-Sirroco Project

The California Department of Fish and Wildlife has executed Streambed Alteration Agreement SAC-64615-R2 for the Laguna Springs-Sirroco 12kV Extension project. The Sacramento Municipal Utility District serves as the lead agency for the installation of approximately 350 feet of 12kV utility cable within a conduit beneath Elk Grove/Laguna Creek in the City of Elk Grove, California. The project will be executed using horizontal directional drilling, and it is anticipated that there will be no impacts to the bed, bank, channel, or riparian habitats. The project is governed by Section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code and has been determined to be categorically exempt under CEQA Guidelines section 15303 and Public Resources Code sections 21080(b)(9) and 21084.
