CASF, WiConduit and GigabitNow Sonoma Coast Connection Extension

The California Public Utilities Commission has approved grant funding of up to 10,518,900 dollars from the California Advanced Services Fund Infrastructure Account for the Sonoma Coast Connect Extension project. This initiative, led by WiConduit and GigabitNow, aims to provide high-speed internet access to 101 unserved locations within Sonoma County. The project involves the construction of a fiber-to-the-home network capable of delivering symmetrical speeds of 1,000 Megabits per second for both downloads and uploads. This effort is part of the broader CASF program, which was established in 2008 to expand broadband access across the state of California.
