Moss Pier Expansion (Lake Alteration Agreement EPIMS Notification No. PLA-66868-R2)

The California Department of Fish and Wildlife (CDFW) has executed Lake Alteration Agreement EPIMS Notification Number PLA-66868-R2, pursuant to Section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to the project Applicant, William Moss. The project is limited to the modification of an existing private pier located lakeward of the residence at 3830 North Lake Boulevard. The project entails widening the entire pier to 10-foot-wide and the construction of an 11-foot pier extension with a 30-foot x 3-foot adjustable catwalk (130-foot total pier length). Six (6) existing 10.75” piling and five (5) 4x6” piling will be removed from the lakebed (4.3 sq. ft.). Fourteen (14) new 10.75” diameter steel piling, three (3) 4x4” tube steel piling, and one (1) 2.5” diameter pipe columns will be driven into the lakebed (13.0 sq. ft.). Two (2) mooring buoys with anchor blocks will also be installed, creating an additional 18 sq. ft. of lakebed disturbance. Project activities include the installation of 36 sq. ft. of fish habitat enhancement consisting of one (1) 6’ x 6’ rock/cobble pyramid consisting of 6-8” cobbles.
