H -- RFI - Tree Surveying Services for Manhattan, NY

This is a REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (RFI). This is not a request for proposals and in no way obligates the Government to award any purchase order or contract. The Department of Agriculture (USDA), Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service is seeking industry comments and information to assist in developing pricing structures, industry preferences to either firm fixed or labor hour pricing structure; and technical approaches from sources capable of providing tree surveying services for the detection of Asian Longhorned Beetle on public property and private property in Manhattan, New York. The Statement of Work for both the public property and private property and the survey map will be attached to this notice within 1-2 days. This synopsis is for information and planning purposes ONLY, and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government. In accordance with FAR 15.202(e), responses to this notice are not an offer and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract. Responders are solely responsible for all expenses associated with responding to this RFI. All information received in response to this RFI marked proprietary will be handled accordingly. Responses to this RFI will not be returned. Respondents will not be notified of the result of the review. Parties are strongly encouraged to provide a response to this RFI, detailing envisioned realistic pricing structure and technical approach for this tree surveying effort.
