Full Description

This is a notice of Intent to make a sole source award under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 to Electronic Data Solutions for hand-held data recorders for use by BIA Foresters. Electronic Data Solutions is the only known responsible vendor capable of providing hand held data recorders with the necessary log scaling and log reporting software written specifically for accepted methods utilized by the Southwest Region, BIA. This will be the only notice of the Governments intent to solicit and negotiate with only one source in accordance with FAR 6.302-1, Other than Full and Open Competition. Firms having the ability to provide this service should notify Glenn Shafer, Contracting Specialist, in writing via e-mail, at: contact@example.gov by 2:00 MST on September 06, 2013. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
