Scope: The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision and quality control necessary to replace weather-stripping and foam as outlined in the attached Statement of Work. The contractor shall perform in accordance with standards specified in the contract. Background: Weather-stripping and foam on the south hangar door, of hangar 36, are significantly worn. The weather-stripping is torn and beyond repair. Furthermore, the foam has become firm and has lost its elastic, protective qualities. Weather-stripping and foam detailed in this statement of work shall be replaced to improve the functionality of the aircraft hangar door and improve energy efficiency of the subject hangar. Additionally, all door bumpalongs should be inspected, for mechanical integrity, due to mechanical stresses that are acting on the sliding doors. Please see attached SOW, drawings and specifications for complete detail. Period of Performance: Services shall be completed within 45 days of the contract award. Project Magnitude: Between $35,000 - $150,000 Prospective offerors are HIGHLY encouraged to attend a Site Visit on Tuesday 6 Sep 2022 at 10:30am EST.
