Bidders must also be registered with the Iowa Department of Inspections, Appeals & Licensing. This project is for a Tile Zone nutrient reduction wetland. In general, the work involves, but is not limited to, selective clearing, drain tile imvestigation and removal, excavation, grading, installation of reinforced concrete pipe (RCP), high density polyethyelene (HDPE) dual wall pipe installation with CMP tile outlets, concrete water control structure and seeding. This project includes around 17,100 cubic yards of earthwork, 2,800 linear feet (LF) of drain tile investigaiton and removal, 79 LF of 36-inch diameter RCP, 3,244 LF of HDPE corrugated profile wall pipe, a concrete water control structure (modified SW-302), a stoplog storage structure and 6.8 acres of seeding. The estimated construction cost range for this project is between $200,000 and $300,000. Construction will commence within 7 days of the preconstruction meeting, unless otherwise mutually agreed upon.
