The Bureau of Engraving and Printing (BEP) received several inquiries regarding RFQ-10-0268. Below is a list of questions from vendors in black lettering. The BEP's response is in red lettering. 1. Can you tell me the serial number for the AVST ? BEP Response: Serial Number 1407790295022 2. How many handsets and how many CSIE control cards there are in your NEC 2000 Wireless ? BEP Response: There are no CSIE cards. Currently, the BEP has 20 ea. CSIA cards and 59 handsets with approximately 59 departmental users. 3. Do you also happen to know how many users there will be? BEP Response: 59 handsets with 20 ea. CSIA cards 4. CLIN 001A has the parts list. Is this BEP's anticipated list of parts to perform the upgrade in CLIN 001, or are these parts additional to the parts need for the upgrade? According to NEC, the Government furnished parts list is not sufficient for performing a complete upgrade for the 2400 to the SV8500. BEP Response: The requirement has been defined in the solicitation. If any modifications are required, they will be minor. 5. CLIN003 (option) - What has the government's historical maintenance order level been? BEP Response: Approx 4 calls per year 6. Is a new rectifier part of the main required proposal or is it an option? BEP Response: No 7. Please clarify; if you ask for 80 new DT300 series phones as an option? BEP Response: The Government is asking for pricing as a additional option. 8. The parts list we are supposed to bid, has 7 new circuit cards (SPA-16ELCN) that would support 116 new DT300 type phones. What is required and what is the option please? BEP Response: These cards are requested so that the government can start the procedure of upgrading Series E phone instruments. 5 ea.
