HEADQUARTERS MARINE CORPS - PROGRAMS AND RESOURCES - TECHNOLOGY SERVICES ORGANIZATION (TSO) INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY SERVICES

This is a NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE BRIDGE CONTRACT under the authority described at FAR 6.302-1 - Only One Responsible source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements, to acquire information technology services for U.S. Marine Corps Headquarters, Programs and Resources, Technology Services Organization (TSO). The Government intends to award a sole source contract for the above services to: Computer Sciences corporation (CSC) Navy and marine Corps technology Center 4045 Hancock Street, San Diego, CA 92110 The proposed bridge contract action is for services, under NAICS Code 541511, for which the Government intends to solicit only one source. In accordance with FAR 6.302-1(a)(2)(iii)(B), DOD, NASA, and the Coast Guard, services may be deemed to be available only from the original source in the case of follow-on contracts for the continued provision of highly specialized services when it is likely that award to any other source would result in unacceptable delays in fulfilling the agency's requirements (See 10 U.S.C. 2304(d)(1)(B)). The Contractor is the sole source service provider for TSO. DURATION: This requirement will be for a 10 month base period and two one-month option periods. This notice is for information purposes only and is not a request for proposal. No solicitation document is available and telephone, fax, or e-mail requests will not be honored. No contract will be awarded on the basis of offers received in response to this notice. A determination not to compete this proposed contract based on this notice is within the discretion of the Government.
