Health and Human Services (HHS) - Wide Procurement of Biosafety Level 4 (BSL-4) Suits- Personal Protective Equipment

The National Institutes of Health is seeking Biosafety Level 4 (BSL-4) Positive Pressure Suits through a non-competitive Notice of Intent targeting an Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity contract under solicitation number 75N98026Q00738. These suits are critical for sustaining mission-critical research and public health safety operations across NIH, CDC, and HHS facilities, particularly in high-containment laboratories and emergency response scenarios. The suits must be constructed from material resistant to daily quaternary virucidal chemical showers, feature an in-line HEPA filtration system connected via standard Parker quick connections to a facility air supply operating at 60 PSL and delivering 25 cfm with HEPA-filtered exhaust, and include right-side air hose hookups, air- and watertight seams, and stocking-type feet compatible with standard footwear.
