Kitchen Equipment Maintenance and Repairs for Brenham State Supported Living CenterHHSC PCS is seeking competitive bids to establish contract(s) for preventative maintenance and as-needed repairs for kitchen equipment at Brenham State Supported Living Center. Mandatory On-Site VisitHHSC will conduct two mandatory on-site visits at the location specified below on the date and time identified in the Procurement Schedule (cover page of this IFB) or on the date and time established in subsequent Addenda.The on-site visit will include a review of the IFB requirements as well as a walk-through of the facility.Attendance at one site visit is mandatory. Failure to attend in person will result in the disqualification of a Bidder. Bidders not listed on the attendance log will not be permitted to submit a Response.On-site LocationBrenham State Supported Living Center4001 Hwy 36 S, Brenham, Texas 77833Onsite contact: Gabe Lewis - Gabriel.Lewis@hhs.texas.govBidders are must notify the on-site contact listed above regarding attendance.Site Visit Instructions:When entering the facility grounds, stop at Guard Shack and show your Texas Driver’s License or State ID. Inform Guard Shack staff that you are here to meet with the Food Service Manager, Gabe Lewis, at Food Service. Park in the parking lot at food service, ring buzzer at door and someone will let you into the building and show you to Gabe’s office.Site Visit Rules: Texas driver’s License and/or ID is required when entering our front gate. DO NOT engage in contact with any residents. DO NOT give residents anything (Cigarettes, matches, food or money, etc.) Notify Campus Coordination 979-277-2754 immediately if a resident becomes annoyed, agitated, or angry. Do NOT Park on lawns around buildings without express permission from the duty officer. Do NOT Park in Fire Lane Zones. Park only designated areas set by the duty officer. Before you lock your vehicles, check for residents and keep your vehicle locked at all times. Vehicle keys must always be removed and attended to. Follow all traffic laws while on facility grounds. Speed limit is 20 miles per hour, MAXIMUM. NO PASSING of any vehicle/people mover on campus. Pedestrians always have the right of way. Drive with extreme caution. Do NOT drive on the lawns. BSSLC is a drug/alcohol free campus. Smoking is NOT allowed. Firearms, drugs, alcoholic beverages are forbidden on campus. Animals and pets are forbidden on campus. Always secure all tools and equipment. Do not store any items in the beds of trucks that can be consumed either by drinking or eating. Items will be confiscated. Do not leave items in the bed of trucks that can be utilized as a weapon. Fence partitions will be closed and locked. Trash and project waste made during construction will be picked up daily. Conduct will always be professional and courteous. Refrain from unwanted/obscene remarks or behavior. Proper attire is required while on facility grounds. This includes the current level of PPE as posted. Bidders must check in at the gate and at the requestors designated departmental area. When badge is assigned, you must always wear your badge. (Badges must be returned to department before leaving campus.) Please report any issues that arise to your facility point of contact.
