SECTION 00100 ADVERTISEMENT FOR BID  
Separate written sealed BIDS for a General Contract for the furnishing of all labor and materials for the construction of:   HIGHWAY 18 SEWER EXTENSION PHASE 1   will be received by the Mayor and Board of Aldermen of the CITY OF BRANDON herein after called the OWNER at the office of the:   CITY CLERK, CITY OF BRANDON, BRANDON CITY HALL 1000 MUNICIPAL DRIVE BRANDON, MS 39042   Until 10:00am local time on Friday, July 24th, 2026, and then at said office publicly opened and read aloud for supplying all labor, equipment, and materials necessary for completion of the Highway 18 Sewer Extension Phase 1 project.   Bidders must be qualified under Mississippi State Law and show Certificate of Responsibility issued by the Mississippi State Board of Public Contractors. Project includes but is not limited to the installation of approximately 2,000 linear feet of 15” gravity sewer and associated manholes, connections, and all other necessary appurtenances required to complete the project as shown and specified in the plans and contract documents. The DRAWINGS, SPECIFICATIONS AND CONTRACT DOCUMENTS may be examined at the following locations: 1. City of Brandon, 1000 Municipal Drive, Brandon, MS 39042 2. Benchmark Engineering & Surveying, LLC, 660 Katherine Drive, Suite 302, Flowood, MS 39232   Copies of the BIDDING DOCUMENTS may be obtained at BENCHMARK ENGINEERING upon payment of One Hundred Fifty Dollars ($150) per set – none of which is refundable. No partial documents will be issued.   Bid Security in the amount of 5% of the bid must accompany each bid in accordance with the INSTRUCTIONS TO BIDDERS.
