Full Description

The US Army Corps of Engineers - Portland District will soon solicit a Request for Quotes (RFQ) that will require a contractor to develop a cultural resource background research document. The work will consist of background research, literature review, and historic documentation of 24 placement sites within the Lower Columbia River corridor from the mouth of the Columbia River to Portland, OR, river miles 3-106.5. In addition, it is also the goal to have a better understanding of the submerged archaeological and historic resources in the river that could be impacted by dredging or in-water placement of dredge material.
