Hologic is the manufacturer and developer of the Horizon W DXA bone scan system as well as the distribution source for BMD assessment, monitor, and related DXA exams. SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University (“SUNY-DHSU”) intends to purchase the aforementioned via Premier GPO Agreement. Pursuant to authority under New York State Finance Law, Section 163(3)(vi)this procurement is being purchased via GPO Master Agreement which authorizes the use of a consortium or comparable entity in lieu of a centralized contract or formal competitive process when justified by price. Agreement is subject to NYS Finance Law §139 J&K, or The Lobbying Law. Therefore, vendors are cautioned that the only permissible contact for this procurement is the individual, or individuals, listed below. Failure to comply with this requirement can range from no contract to debarment from sales to any NYS Agency. Successful contractor shall be required to submit valid and current NYS Workman’s compensation and Disability Forms.
