Commodity or Service Required: Purchase of Hoover irrigation pumps maintenance and support Description: Lee County Facilities and Construction Management seeks to execute a single-source procurement for maintenance and repair of existing pump stations providing proper irrigation to the ball field turf, landscape and all other grass. Service includes data service, software updates, controller upgrades, filter systems, and any other necessary components and includes Flowguard software for remote operations. Intended Single Source: Hoover Pumping Systems Corporation Justification for Single Source Acquisition: Hoover Pumping Systems Corporation is the only vendor that can support the software, supply maintenance services and replacement components for the existing pump stations. The software provides real-time visibility over the pump stations and irrigation zones. It is designed to provide optimal water supplies, control lake depths, send trouble alerts, and generate water use reports that are required by South Florida Water Management District. There is no other product on the market that is compatible with "Flowguard Smart" software and no other vendors able to provide maintenance and replacement components for the existing irrigation pump stations.
