AI Contract Overview
This solicitation, numbered SPE7M4-26-T-331U, is issued by the Department of Defense Fluid Handling Division for the procurement of 70 air duct hoses under NSN 4720-00-629-3075. The contract requires delivery within 189 days after the order is placed and specifies that inspection will occur at the destination. Compliance with various DLA technical and quality requirements is mandatory, including specific packaging standards, physical item marking, and the prohibition of Class I ozone-depleting chemicals. The procurement involves significant security and regulatory constraints, including CMMC Level 2 certification and strict adherence to ITAR and EAR export controls. Access to technical data is restricted to contractors with an approved US/Canada Joint Certification Program certification. Additionally, because the item contains proprietary technical data, the original manufacturer must be given the first opportunity to bid and must provide a no-quote response letter before the government can release the technical data package to other bidders.
