Bid #13276: The project consists of the complete abatement of hazardous materials (asbestos, lead) and the demolition of multiple structures at 2790 Market Street, San Diego. The scope includes a 7,021 sq ft main residential building, a detached garage, tool shed, wood shed, power house/radio tower, and a butane storage tank. All structures are to be demolished down to the foundation slab, which is to remain. The work also involves the removal of all on-site landscaping and trees, utility coordination including capping a gas line in the street, proper disposal of all hazardous materials and universal waste, and adherence to waste recycling requirements. The contractor will be responsible for installing new fall protection handrails around the remaining slab and permanent chain link fencing.
