Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard and Intermediate Maintenance Facility (PHNSY & IMF) is issuing this sources sought synopsis as a means of conducting market research to seek eligible contractors to perform High Pressure Air Compressor (HPAC) maintenance, Low Pressure Air Compressor (LPAC) maintenance, O2N2 compressor maintenance and Air Valve overhaul support. Government intends to solicit for the HPAC/LPAC maintenance, O2N2 compressor maintenance, and Air Valve overhaul support onboard naval LA class submarines, Ohio class submarines, CVNs, and surface ships (see attached parts list that require maintenance). The Government does not possess the proprietary information needed to maintain and repair the system. All responsible sources may identify their interest and provide capability statements in response to this notice. Capability statements shall demonstrate the Contractor's capability to perform the requirements of the HPAC/LPAC maintenance, provide Air Valve support, and O2N2 compressor maintenance to include providing systems certification for the attached part numbers. The request for capability information does not constitute a request for proposals. Submission of any information in response to this market survey is purely voluntary and the Government does not assume financial responsibility for any costs incurred. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
