Solicitation Number: AG-569R-S-13-0028 Notice Type: Combined Synopsis/Solicitation Synopsis: This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice and in accordance with the simplified acquisition procedures authorized in FAR Part 13. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation, #AG-569R-S-13-0028, is issued as an RFQ (Request for Quotations) and the solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular No. 2005-66. This requirement is for the United States Department of Agriculture, Forest Service. The NAICS code for this project is 336611, Maintenance and repair of ship and marine equipment, and the Business Size Standard is 1000 employees. The intent of this contract is to provide towing service to and from the shipyard, dry-dock and hull inspection, sand blast and painting, simplified stability test (SST), and other shipyard general services for USFS owned Barge. (See below chart and attached solicitation document for more details). ITEM NO. Our desired contract performance period is 60 days, however, delays due to weather conditions will be considered.
