Scope of Work: The Broward County Aviation Division (BCAD) is seeking a qualified vendor for the reconstruction/rehabilitation of Taxiway P from the Runway 10L end to the Runway 1L intersection, reconstruction/rehabilitation of Taxiway P from the Runway 1L intersection to Taxiway B, and reconstruction/rehabilitation of Taxiway N from Runway 1L to Taxiway B at North Perry Airport (HWO). The project includes mobilization, maintenance of airfield traffic, contractor staging in designated areas, construction of access road(s), and demolition of existing pavement and airfield lighting/signage. The scope also includes new subgrade, lime rock, asphalt paving, pavement markings, sod, Light Emitting Diode (LED) taxiway edge lighting, junction cans, conduit, cabling, and LED guidance signs to be installed.
The project includes a Base Bid and two Optional Groups. The Base Bid includes the reconstruction/rehabilitation of Taxiway Papa from the Runway 10L end to the Runway 1L intersection. This includes realigning the taxiway to coincide with the previously completed Taxiway A extension project. The Optional Group 1 includes reconstruction/rehabilitation of Taxiway Papa from the Runway 1L intersection to Taxiway Bravo. The Optional Group 2 includes reconstruction/rehabilitation of Taxiway November from Runway 1L to Taxiway Bravo.
Requested Information: BPRO's Requested Information section identifies "required" and "optional" items for submittal, however all documents and information are relevant to the evaluation process. Therefore, vendors are strongly encouraged to provide all files at time of submittal, including those listed as “optional” in BPRO, to enable a timely and comprehensive review by the County.
