The U.S. Army has issued a Sources Sought Notice to identify qualified small businesses capable of providing a Hydroblaster Advanced Total Aircraft Wash System, with the intent of setting aside procurement for small businesses if at least two capable companies respond. The notice seeks capability statements from businesses belonging to all socioeconomic categories, highlighting the government’s preference for supporting small business participation in accordance with NAICS code 336413, which has a size standard of 1,250 employees. This notice is strictly for market research and planning purposes and does not constitute a solicitation or a commitment to buy. Information provided in response won’t be considered a formal offer, nor will the government cover any costs incurred in its preparation. Businesses interested in participating must submit a response by June 27, 2025, including contact and business information, details on previous relevant experience, certifications, and business status, as well as their interest in performing as a prime contractor, teaming arrangements, and supporting information to help shape the procurement to maximize open competition among small businesses. Respondents are also encouraged to suggest improvements to the contract requirements or specifications, point out anything that could limit competition, and provide commercial information on availability, pricing, terms, and delivery. The procurement will support ongoing operational needs at Fort Cavazos, Texas, and any future solicitation will be announced via the government’s SAM.gov portal. All submissions must be made via email to the specified Army contact, with precise reference information in the subject line.

The U.S. Army, through the Global Tactical Edge Acquisition Directorate and U.S. Army Europe and Africa in partnership with the FUZE xTech Program, is conducting Accelerated Capability Event 27-02 for Spectrum Enabled Warfare. This initiative seeks operationally mature electromagnetic spectrum operations capabilities at Technology Readiness Level 6 or higher to enhance the ability of U.S. and NATO forces to sense, exploit, and protect contested electromagnetic environments. The effort focuses on four primary capability areas: Electromagnetic Support and Tactical Surveillance, Autonomous Network Management, Electromagnetic Environment Visualization and Battle Damage Assessment Tools, and Electromagnetic Attack and Active Countermeasures.
