Hydronic Heating and Mechanical Services

The Government of Yukon is establishing a Standing Offer Arrangement (SOA) under solicitation RSO-RFB-2026-7-5481 for as-needed hydronic heating and mechanical services across various Yukon communities and traditional First Nation locations. The scope of work includes general non-emergency and emergency call-outs, as well as preventative, predictive, corrective, and condition-based maintenance to ensure the safe and efficient operation of facilities. Contractors are required to provide all necessary labor, tools, and materials to inspect, test, repair, and replace systems in accordance with CSA B214, CSA B51, and Government of Yukon technical standards. The estimated total value of work for the term is 75,000.00 Canadian dollars. Award selection is based on a ranking system where call-ups are issued to the highest-ranked respondent first. Evaluation is primarily based on an adjusted total price, which incorporates hourly rates for Journeymen, Hydronic Mechanical Technicians, and Apprentices across regular, after-hours, and statutory holiday rates, adjusted by a travel and accommodation factor based on the service region. Bid value reductions may be applied for registered Yukon First Nation businesses. Qualified respondents must submit their proposals via the Electronic Bidding System by November 5, 2026, and may be required to provide proof of business registration, insurance, workers' compensation coverage, and safety certifications.
