Hysteresisgraph

The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) has issued a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for the procurement of one new hysteresisgraph to support the rapid characterization of permanent magnets at high magnetic fields and temperatures. This acquisition is a 100% small business set-aside under NAICS code 334516 and is also eligible under the Women-Owned Small Business program. The required instrument must include an electromagnet, power supply, fluxmeters, thermocouples, and manuals, and must maintain operational compliance with standard ASTM A977. The period of performance is 12 months from the date of award, with a requirement for the equipment to be delivered to NIST in Gaithersburg, Maryland. If provided, on-site installation and a training session must be completed within 30 calendar days of delivery. The government will award a firm-fixed-price purchase order to the quoter determined to be most advantageous, based on an evaluation of technical capability, past performance, and price.
