Nature and/or description of the action being approved: The purpose of this sole source justification is to obtain approval to award a fixed contract with Identiv for software license maintenance and maintenance for the custom integration performed by Identiv to establish the BEP Integrated Security System (ISS). The need date for these items is June 01, 2019. The period of performance will be Base Period 06/01/2019 thru 12/31/2019, Option Year 1: 01/01/2020 thru 12/31/2020; Option Year 2: 01/01/2021 thru 12/31/2021; Option Year 3: 01/01/22 thru 12/31/2022; Option 4: 01/01/2023 thru 12/31/2023. A description of the supplies or services required to meet the agency's needs: The proposed acquisition is to acquire Identiv Global Services Managed Services to support the hardware, software, and firmware in order to keep the system fully operational. The services will include software maintenance and maintenance for the custom integration (Velocity to VMS integration, Keywatcher integration, Global Command Set, and Velocity Certificate Checking Service, integrated access control, intrusion detection; video surveillance and recording, photo ID badging) performed during the installation of the system at BEP. In addition to maintenance support; BEP anticipate coordinating site visits for Identive to inspect and validate the system integration. It is also foreseeable if defect(s) are found during site visits, Identiv will need to come on site to perform corrective action. This procurement will also include an Identiv Global Services Code Escrow Agreement.
