This procurement is for two Indefinite-Delivery, Indefinite-Quantity contracts awarded to highly qualified small business firms to provide surveying and mapping services for the Jacksonville District. The primary focus is on aerial and remote sensing, with ground-based and hydrographic surveying serving as ancillary supports. Each contract has a maximum capacity of 4.5 million dollars for a base period of one year, with options to extend for up to four additional years. While work is primarily located within the Jacksonville District, services may be requested outside these boundaries, though contractors reserve the right to refuse such orders. Selection is based on demonstrated competence and qualifications, with primary emphasis placed on specialized experience in remote sensing, the qualifications of professional personnel, capacity to perform work including emergency storm response, and past performance. Key requirements include the prime firm owning and operating a remote sensing aircraft and a metric digital camera. Additionally, the prime firm must employ a licensed Professional Surveyor/Mapper in Florida with ten years of experience and a Photogrammetrist with at least six years of experience. Secondary tie-breaker criteria include the volume of previous Department of Defense contracts and geographic proximity to the worksite.
