You are invited to review and respond to this Invitation for Bid (IFB) titled, 25-E0032 Water Sampling Services. Microplastics (MPs) are an emerging contaminant of concern, and California has taken a national leadership role in advancing research, monitoring, and policy actions related to MPs in the environment. Although laboratory studies suggest potential biological effects associated with MP exposure, substantial scientific uncertainty remains regarding environmentally relevant exposures in drinking water.
