The intent of this Invitation for Bid (IFB) is to hire one contractor to furnish and deliver annual requirements of Class A Concrete on an as needed basis F.O.B. to any destination within the City of Suffolk limits in accordance with all specifications, terms, and conditions herein. This contract will cover all materials as needed by the City’s Public Works Department (primary user), Public Utilities Department, Parks and Recreation Department, or as requested by any other City department. A separate account must be set up for each department.
Contractor must be a ready mix producer who operates a batch plant. Contractor must be capable of delivering concrete in mobile mixing trucks.
