The Indian Health Service (IHS) has issued a Sources Sought Notice (SSN) (Solicitation Number: IHS1527711) seeking market research input for a commercial off-the-shelf (COTS), automated, web-based Instructions for Use (IFU) and Safety Data Sheet (SDS) repository system. This system will provide federal IHS healthcare facilities, spanning 37 states and 12 service areas, with online access to all required documentation such as instructions, service manuals, safety data sheets, and manufacturer guidelines related to dental, medical/surgical, biomedical instruments and equipment, consumables, tissues, implants, and chemicals. The software solution must ensure secure, role-based access with multi-factor authentication, offer interoperability with computerized maintenance management and asset tracking systems, and meet federal IT security and accessibility standards including FedRAMP certification, FISMA, NIST SP 800-53 controls, Section 508, and WCAG 2.1 Level AA compliance. The system will support regulatory compliance with various agencies and standards such as OSHA, CMS, the Joint Commission, AAAHC, and AAMI. This opportunity is a Buy Indian Set-Aside (BICiv), targeting Indian Small Business Economic Enterprises (ISBEE) and Indian Economic Enterprises (IEE), with preferences for those designations in accordance with HHSAR 326.603-1.
