IMD108 – International Management District – SS4A Preliminary and Final Engineering and Design RFQ

International Management District (IMD) requests Statements of Qualifications from qualified engineering firms or teams for preliminary and final engineering and design services for its portion of the Greater Northside and International Districts Safe Streets Project, funded in part through the FHWA Safe Streets and Roads for All (SS4A) program. The scope includes sidewalk and pedestrian safety improvements along Bissonnet Street from Eldridge Parkway South to South Dairy Ashford Road. Services include completion of preliminary engineering and the Design Concept Report (DCR) process, NEPA environmental review documentation and coordination, and final plans, specifications, and estimates. Improvements include sidewalks, signalized intersections, pedestrian crossings, refuge islands, detectable warning surfaces, retaining walls where needed, METRO bus stop accommodations, and utility coordination. Standby Construction Engineering and Inspection (CE&I) and Construction Materials Testing (CMT) services may be authorized through separate written task orders under the professional services contract. This solicitation is being conducted concurrently with, but separately from, GNS112, issued by Greater Northside Management District for its portion of the project. Respondents may submit on one or both solicitations and must submit separately to each listing for which they seek consideration.
