SECTION 00 1113 NOTICE TO BIDDERS RFB #951900-01 The Iowa Department of Administrative Services will be receiving bids for removing and replacing the roof for the Infirmary building which includes mainly asphalt shingles and portions of flat roof at the Independence Mental Health Institute, 2277 Iowa Avenue, Independence, Iowa 50644. The Iowa Department of Administrative Services anticipates construction to begin on September 28, 2026 and end on May 28, 2027. Bids must be received no later than 2:00 pm, Thursday, August 27, 2026. Late bids will not be considered. Bids shall be submitted on IMPACS Electronic Procurement System. The Bid shall be accompanied by a Bid Security as set forth in the Instructions to Bidders in the amount of 5% of the total bid amount. Each bid shall be accompanied by a bid bond, cashier's check or a certified check drawn upon a solvent bank chartered under the laws of the United States of America.
