The Nanaimo Correctional Centre (NCC) is looking for (1) full-time and (1) part-time Indigenous Cultural Liaison (ICL) to provide additional Indigenous supports to individuals in custody. These positions would work with the staff and inmates at NCC to address the growing cultural needs of the correctional centre population and implement and manage Indigenous programs at NCC. The focus of these positions is to support Indigenous individuals in custody to access traditional indigenous culture and to assist them to prepare for a return to the community.
